Our client is seeking a Production Engineer to join their team to assist in providing production engineering and planning support services to their Operations Department.

If you have solid oil and gas upstream industry experience and an engineering degree in process, chemical or mechanical discipline. Possess a thorough understanding of subsurface technology and artificial lift techniques and proven  supervisory level experience then this could be the ideal role for you.

The successful candidate will

Provide support to the asset to maximise hydrocarbon production from the subsurface/well production assets to ensure delivery of the asset oil and gas production targets.

Liaise with reservoir/process engineers to build integrated system models to optimise production.

Liaise with Petroleum Engineering through well diagnosis and evaluation to drive well management improvements.

Work with Reservoir Engineer to develop/implement an annual surveillance plan.

Provide subsurface/well related activity input for Integrated Activity Plan.

Drive regular structured well reviews by multi-discipline teams where well performance is compared against production potential.

Excellent communication skills required.

Some offsite and field travel required.
