Job Description:

Our client is the leading oil producer offshore Qatar and a recognised pioneer in oil development and production techniques. They are seeking a D/IM Service Manager to join their company’s team in Qatar.

If you have solid data management experience and team lead experience with expert knowledge of technical processes and the information used in an E&P company then this stand alone role could be the ideal position for you.

The role is the principal responsible and leader for driving efficient, high quality access to data and information within the company as well as providing corporate alignment in the D/IM domain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for

  • D/IM strategy and set up. Be the primary focal point for matters in the D/IM domain. Responsibilities would include  assessing the requirements of the Qatar operation and sourcing global solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Ops Delivery. High quality service delivery of subsurface data management, records management and document control to interlink with general ops. Resolve conflicts involving technical and team concerns and liase with local ops groups to analyse, classify, secure and control data and information.
  • Innovation. Contribute to overall IT vision and strategy.

Knowledge of Petrel and Eclipse.

Fluent in English.
